Steamboat is known for its ultra dry champagne powder, but that doesn’t mean it’s the only snow we receive. The six day storm from December 17th to 23rd was a Pineapple Express, a storm named for the high level of moisture it brings up from tropical areas like Hawaii. The storm went a bit south and buried resorts in southern Colorado, but Steamboat still made out with plenty of snow. Read more “Epic Pow Week 12/17-23”
